From 2010 until late 2011, Sekyiwa worked on contract as the Director of Marketing Services for Contac Services, Inc. in Vancouver, BC.
During that time, she directed general and specific project management for the marketing, strategic communication (PR) and design departments for teams of 3 - 10 individuals. She also coordinated the complete rebranding of the company's POP library, as well as the internal and external communication strategy.
Website & Rebranding
Sekyiwa created all copy and managed the translation for the website relaunch, coordinated the rebranding effort for all corporate sites, sourced and worked closely with consultants and contractors the rebranding strategy and guidelines, and worked closely with the Creative Services department to develop and implement a new logo.
Sekyiwa built the creative briefs, as well as the French and English language scripts and general story-boarding for lightboxed videos on the rebranded corporate website. She also managed the talent sourcing, contracts and hiring for all voice actors, sound technicians and animators.
Sekyiwa was the Creative Director on the project and managed the graphic selection and copywriting for the booklet. She was the Project Manager for creative and developmental cycle, she managed the integration of the digital version of the catalogue on the corporate website, and coordinated a large-scale mail out of the print version of the catalogue.
Corporate Press Kit
Sekyiwa created all of the copy, including biographies, for the project. She also coordinated the hiring of photographers and the photo shoots in both the Vancouver and Toronto offices while managing the print and digital formatting of the piece.
Sekyiwa managed and created the template and all copy for all communication released to the press. She also managed the email distribution of any releases via Vertical Response, PR Web and CNW. Sekyiwa oversaw English to French translation and managed sourcing client quotes and overall content consistency for all external communication issued on behalf of the company.
